What is a Discordian Pope?

In Discordianism, every person is already a Pope. The Principia Discordia declares that every man, woman, and child on Earth is a genuine and authorized Pope of Discordia.

As a Pope, you have the power to:

  • Ordain other Popes
  • Excommunicate (including yourself, the combatants of both sides in a war, or the entire planet)
  • Perform marriages, baptisms, and funerals
  • Invoke infallibility at any time (including retroactively)
